It hard to go anywhere in the Roseburg area without being reminded of the lifeblood of this region, the timber industry. I pass a couple mills and countless log trucks on the way to work everyday. Even though companies are required to replant the areas they log, its still difficult to see these scars in such a beautiful forest.
