On her trips to work with me, Mom got to see some of the Safari's new additions. Here is a Guanaco and her month old baby.

Missy and 2 of her 4 new cubs, born on Easter.


Cheetah cubs are covered with a thick silver hair, which helps them camouflage in the wild. They lie very still and flat as their hair would blend in with the dry African grasses. These cubs were very spunky, hissing and spitting at us the entire time we watched them.
