Well, I hate to perpetuate a stereotype, but dang do those hippies love glowsticks! At random times during the show, giant handfuls of glowsticks would go flying through the air, into the crowd, and onto the ground. I must admit it looked cool (and you gotta love the way they twinkle off my metal top), but what a waste. Thousands were probably used throughout the weekend. However, salvagers, children and adults alike, would crawl around by your feet to gather handfuls to toss out again.
"Groove is in the Art" was an interactive art experience held throughout the festival grounds. Each night after the music, four theme camps each had a different activity to enjoy and take part in. This was the Expression Camp.
