American Merchant Mariners' Memorial- "serves as a marker for those resting in the unmarked ocean depths"- dedicated in 1991


"The Sphere" was conceived as a symbol of world peace and stood in the World Trade Center Plaza for 3 decades. It was damaged on September 11th and was moved here as a memorial. The eternal flame was ignited on the year anniversary in honor of those who were lost.
