A couple weeks later, we drove to Horning's Hideout, a park and venue located west of Portland. The band, String Cheese Incident, was having a three day music festival there. Horning's, "the Shan-gri-la of fishing, picnicking, camping and concert events," has rolling hills and nice stands of trees. Camping areas were laid throughout the forest.

Horning's is well known for its free-range peacocks, so there was a lot of peacock décor.
