The ZA Meeting was held at the Seattle Aquarium, which was constructed on a pier in the Puget Sound. After the meeting, we were treated to a lavish spread of hors d'oeuvres and local beer and wine on a balcony overlooking the Sound.


Then, we recieved a behind the scenes tour, including having a young octopus suction onto my finger (amazingly strong for its size!), seeing the mechanics behind Window on Washington Waters, a 120,000 gallon exhibit with a 39' X 17' viewing window, and enjoying the touchable tide pool displays. Did I mention we had a lot of wine…
