The beginning of October we had some early season snow… so what did we do? We decided to go fishing on the 2,824 acre Diamond Lake, located high in the Cascades. The lake is bordered by Mt. Bailey…


… and Mt. Thielsen


After the snow stopped, the mist moved in. The lake had recently been refilled and stocked with fish following the eradication of the invasive feeder fish tui chub. However, we didn't catch a darn thing…
